About Campaign

South Carolina Department of Public Health campaign focused on raising awareness of when to call 911, signs of an opioid overdose, and naloxone kit locations statewide.

Served as project lead and main point of contact for the client across two years of campaign work. Developed content and messaging addressing Good Samaritan Law protections, overdose warning signs, and free naloxone kit locations. Designed print and digital marketing materials, including billboards, static ads for Geo and Meta, and video and audio ads for Geo, Meta, traditional TV, and radio. Wrote comprehensive video scripts detailing scene descriptions, on-screen action, narration, visual and audio cues, and timing, and managed voiceover talent procurement and selection strategy. Produced video concepts in Premiere Pro using stock imagery and repurposed footage from previous campaigns. Oversaw ad management and analytics and authored the comprehensive final report. Managed a partnership with 1801 Media and the Garnet Trust network, coordinating DPH ads placed in four former SC college athletes' podcasts and four social media videos featuring current University of South Carolina athletes. Ads ran across Meta, Snapchat, iHeartRadio, traditional TV (Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, and Myrtle Beach/Florence markets), geotargeted campaigns, and OTT.
